Mashta Helou depends on tourism as the main financial resource for both investors & its townsfolk.

 Although, tourism have started in this town few years ago, but it's flourishing now. Therefore, every tourist can get whatever he needs & demands when he is in Mashta Helou. For example:

There are many places to rent out in Mashta Helou. You can hire either houses or hotels, and they are ranging from one star to five stars.

Summer season starts early in Mashta Helou-  from June till September, and usually tourists reserve very early before months because all houses & hotels are crowded during the season. 

Restaurants

Like hotels, Mashta Helou has got various kinds of restaurants. For example, oriental, fast food & popular restaurants.

They spread all over Mashta Helou, especially in woods & around fresh water or springs.

Neighboring towns:

 Mashta Helou is located between different towns. These towns have the same tourist qualifications as Mahsta Helou.

 And they are not far from Mashta Helou. For example, Aeoun Alwade  to the East, Al-kafroun to the West.                              By the way, Al-kafroun consists of a number of towns & each one  is called Kafroun.

Mashta Helou Summer Festival:

Mashta Helou used to hold a festival at every summer end & it lasts for three days. This ceremony started few years ago & it's still going on.

Usually, the festival agenda includes various activities such as band musical show, poetical competitions, fashion shows, cultural forums, parties in Mashta's yard and Miss Summer election.

Virgin Mary Day or (Al-sayda Day):

It's a religious celebration occurs every year at 15th of August.

During this period, thousands of people from different Syrian & Lebanese cities come to Masta Helou to participate in this special celebration.
